We’re Kaytee and Dani, and we run Warmth & Wellness here in Paignton on the English Riviera. We met sea swimming about four years ago and our friendship grew in those early‑morning moments — shivering on the seafront, wrapped in towels, talking about life, family and the things that keep us grounded. One morning after a 6am dip, Kaytee shared her vision of women gathering around her dining room table to eat nourishing food, learn about nutrition and feel held in a gentle, welcoming space. We were both instantly up for it. We can’t even remember how we advertised that first supper club, but women showed up, embraced our experiment and something special began to unfold.A typical day for us is a blend of real life and the work we love. We’re juggling family life, navigating teenagers, school, planning events, and testing recipes — all while managing not just our own emotions but the emotions of our children. The mental load is real. Life brings its ups and downs, and we try to flow with it, picking each other up when we need to. We both love learning — from nutrition and gut health to nervous system support, cold‑water swimming and hands‑on creativity — and that curiosity shapes everything we build together.The supper clubs began with Kaytee’s idea of gathering women and sharing what she’d learned about food and nourishment. Dani brought the recipes and her love of cooking, which Kaytee fully embraced, and now we both enjoy experimenting with whatever ingredients we can get our hands on. What started around a kitchen table has grown into something much bigger. Recently, we moved our supper clubs into a small tearoom, giving us more space, more ease and the chance to welcome even more women into the warmth of what we’re creating.Sea swimming and sauna have become part of our rhythm too. Even when life gets busy and it takes a back step, we return to it with more intention. There’s something about the cold water and the warmth of a Dartmoor sauna that keeps us connected to nature and reminds us to slow down.At the heart of it all, we care deeply about connection, nourishment and community — and we simply want to share what has supported us, in the hope it supports others too.
