The materials used for the tea bags, string and tags are PLA woven mesh, with PLA thread and a paperboard tag with PLA coating. PLA (polylactic acid) is a polymer resin made by the lactic fermentation of glucose which is derived from corn starch.

Our Eco crimp bags are made from NatureFlex which is a compostable film which is made from natural, renewable resources, such as wood pulp, and is both biodegradable and compostable which makes it one of the most eco-friendly ways to store our tea.

Our packaging boxes....

Our tea boxes and shipping boxes are 100% recyclable and are made up of a minimum of 80% recycled material. We also used water-based ink, meaning this as well is 100% recyclable.
