Meet Janice
I’m a trained reflexologist, but these days I’m more about protecting my energy than trying to fix the world one pair of feet at a time. Burnout definitely had its moment with me, so now I’m all about finding the lighter, happier side of life… even if I’m still constantly trying to get everything done at once (some habits don’t die 😅).I work part-time as an optical assistant, which I actually love — it’s a mix of helping people, having a chat, and a bit of “where has that gone?” energy. Keeps me on my toes and stops me disappearing too far into my own little calm bubble.I’m a big believer that life is for living, not just ticking off to-do lists… although I’m still very much a work in progress on that one. I like to keep things simple — good tea, fresh air, a bit of quiet, and small moments that make the day feel better. My dog Lottie is honestly my mental saviour — my little shadow, my sidekick, and my everything. If I’m not working, I’m probably with her, out in nature, getting some air and a reset.I’m happiest outside. Proper tree hugger, moon lover, slightly woo-woo with a hippy heart and probably an old soul thrown in. I love nature, the seasons, and anything that makes you feel a bit more grounded and connected.Basically just winging midlife, riding the ups and downs, trying not to take it all too seriously — and learning that slowing down might actually be the most productive thing I can do
Why Jancie became a Mother Cuppa ambassador
Honestly, it just felt like a perfect fit for me and where I’m at in life. After going through burnout, I’ve really shifted how I look at wellbeing. I’m not about overcomplicated routines or trying to do everything “perfectly” anymore — I’m all about simple, realistic ways to feel better day to day. When I came across Mother Cuppa, it just clicked straight away.It wasn’t just the tea, it was the feeling behind it. It felt warm, nurturing, and actually supportive — like a little pause in the middle of a busy day. That’s exactly what I needed at the time, and it’s something I now really value.I also loved how relatable it felt. No pressure, no overwhelm, just blends that support how you’re feeling, whether you need calming, clarity, or a bit of a boost. It fits so naturally into everyday life, which is what makes it so easy to stick with.Becoming an ambassador didn’t feel like a big decision — it felt like an extension of how I already live. I was already reaching for it, already enjoying that little moment of calm, so sharing it just made sense.
Janice's Favourtite blend
Relax is my absolute favourite — that’s my proper wind-down, end-of-day blend. It’s the one I reach for when everything’s finally quiet and I can sit, breathe, and switch off. It’s become part of my little evening ritual and really helps me slow down after busy days.During the day, I love Clarity and Energise for a gentle pick-me-up. I’m not into anything too intense, so they’re perfect when I need a boost without feeling wired. I’ll have one when I’ve got a lot on, or when my head feels a bit full and I need to reset and refocus. For me, it’s not just about the tea — it’s the pause that comes with it. Just taking a few minutes to sit with a warm cup makes such a difference. It helps me feel more grounded, more present, and a bit more like myself again.
Mother Cuppa was built differently.
As a female founder, I wanted to grow this business in a way that supports other women too — sharing our profits with those introducing the blends, rather than relying on traditional retail.
Our Brew Crew is made up of women who love the teas and want to be part of something more — earning alongside building confidence, connection and community.
When you shop through a Brew Crew members page, you’re directly supporting our ambassadors as well as a small, female-founded business.
Much Love
