The term "antioxidant" refers to a group of compounds that can counteract unstable molecules called free radicals. These molecules can cause damage to important parts of cells, such as DNA and cell membranes. Free radicals are unstable because they lack a full complement of electrons, causing them to steal electrons from other molecules and cause damage in the process. Antioxidants work by neutralizing free radicals, which involves sacrificing some of their own electrons. This process acts as a natural "off" switch for the free radicals and helps break a chain reaction that could otherwise affect other molecules and cells in the body. However, it is essential to understand that the term "antioxidant" describes a chemical property rather than a specific nutritional property.
Thank you Candice for producing such a wonderful range of calming and delicious teas - having lived locally for a while I have heard how lovely they are, and now having tried them for myself I’m totally hooked!
I first purchased ‘Clarity’ which really does help with the mid 40’s fog! And having loved this so much I purchased ‘Relax’ only a day later! and can honestly say I’ve never had a tea like this - both taste fantastic and the actual tea bags are full of sumptuous ingredients that you just can’t wait to dive into.
Candice also very kindly arranged for my orders to be hand delivered as I’m local, another benefit of using a locally run business, these small touches make such a huge difference - thank you for caring so much about your customers. I will be back!
The best service, Candice even takes the trouble to write a little note on every order, now that is someone who cares about her business. And the tea……what can I say? Tastes amazing and feels like it a hug. It’s the tea I reach for first thing, during the day and last thing at night.
Aww Kat, this is such a lovely review, thank you so much for taking the time to notice my little notes and the care that goes in. Really appreciate that. And I am so chuffed you love my blends xx
Much love
Candice
We've loved our new teas. Our favourite is RELAX. Every night we have a relax tea before bed.
It's so comforting,. The scent is warming and flavours are rich and profound yet warming and blended beautifully.
Yay, Vanessa, this is exactly the effect I was going for, so pleased to hear how much you are loveing my relax blend.
My favourite fruity tea that helps me through the day♥️
This subtle blend is calming but at the same time helps you continue the rest of the day to refocus especially needed when your brain fog appears. Thank you Candice 😘♥️
Jane, I love this review, thank you so much for taking the time to share this with me, I am so pleased to hear we are helping to combat brain fog!
